Obiettivi:
Il corso si prefigge di affrontare il repertorio vocale da camera e analizzarne le problematiche (problematiche d’insieme cameristico, capacità di comprensione e interpretazione dei testi poetici, di analisi di tipo stilistico-interpretativo delle partiture) seguendo un percorso su alcuni autori o periodi storici scelti. Il corso si avvale della partecipazione congiunta di cantanti e pianisti
Contenuti:
- La Mélodie francese dell’Ottocento e del Novecento
- Il Lied tedesco
- Altri brani liberi di musica vocale da camera da concordare con gli studenti
Esami:
Per il primo anno è prevista una prova interna di idoneità
Per il terzo anno è prevista una prova d’esame come segue.
Programma d’esame
Parte esecutiva
Esecuzione con cantanti di un programma della durata minima di 20 minuti (max 30′) con brani scelti dal programma di studio del corso, concordato con la docente.
Parte teorica
Presentazione di un breve elaborato scritto relativo al programma eseguito.

Chamber Music I – II – III (with singers)

Classes: individuals, half-group, group classes
Duration: 24 hs per year Credit units (CFA ECTS): 4 per year
Course objectives:
The course aims to deal with the vocal chamber repertoire and to analize its issues. Particularly: text and poetry comprehension and interpretation, stylistic and interpretative analysis of the music; concerns about chamber music timing, breathing with singers). That will be achieved through a path on composers or historic moments. Both pianist and singers participate in the classes.
- Contents:
The French Mélodie of the 19th and 20th centuries - The german Lieder
- Any other suitable composition to be determined in agreement with the teacher
Testings: An internal proficiency testing will be required at the end of the first and second year. At the end of the third year the student must undergo an examination with the following program:

Performing part
A program (20/30 minutes) to be performed with a singer to be determined in agreement with the teacher.
Theoric part
Presentation of a short work about the program performed.
