Obiettivi:
Il corso si prefigge di affrontare in maniera approfondita il repertorio organistico dalla musica tardo gotica alla musica del periodo galante e analizzarne le problematiche interpretative attraverso lo studio e consultazione dei trattati (comprensione, traduzione, interpretazione di particolari scritture, analisi di tipo stilistico – interpretativo delle partiture; problematiche della scelta di registri negli organi storici, utilizzo di diteggiature antiche, ascolto di strumenti storici attraverso CD, You Tube e web). In particolar modo viene data la precedenza al repertorio manualiter eseguibile sugli strumenti storici italiani
Contenuti:
- Studio di importanti partiture manualiter tratte dal repertorio antico di autori come Hofheimer, Schlick, Sweelinck, Gabrieli, Merulo, Frescobaldi, Rossi, Froberger, Pasquini, Weckmann Buxtehude, Scheidemann ed altri.
- Studio e approfondimento di alcune importanti composizioni manualiter per organo di J. S. Bach, Studio di almeno una composizione di epoca galante per esempio dalla Sonate di C. P. E. Bach.
- Studio e approfondimento di alcune sonate Venete.
- Studio e approfondimento del repertorio operistico per organo, musiche di P. D. Da Bergamo per esempio.
- Altri brani liberi da concordare con gli studenti.

E’ prevista una prova d’esame al termine dell’ annualità come segue:

Parte esecutiva
- Si richiede un’esecuzione di durata non inferiore a 30 minuti con musiche scelte dal programma di studio del corso, concordate con il docente, dove sia prevista possibilmente una scelta di vari autori approfonditi durante l’ anno.
BACHELOR COURSE
Ancient organ 1
Course objectives:
The course aims to address in depth the organ repertoire from late Gothic music to the music of the gallant period and analyze the interpretative problems through the study and consultation of the treaties (understanding, translation, interpretation of particular scriptures, stylistic analysis – interpretation of the scores, the choice of registers in historical organs, use of ancient fingerings, listening to historical instruments through CD, YouTube and web). In particular, precedence is given to the manualiter repertoire that can be performed on Italian historical instruments
Course contents
- Study of important manualiter scores from ancient repertoire of authors like Hofheimer, Schlick, Sweelinck, Gabrieli, Merulo, Frescobaldi, Rossi, Froberger, Pasquini, Weckmann Buxtehude, Scheidemann and others.
- Study and in-depth analysis of some important manualiter compositions for organ from J.S. Bach
- Study of at least one composition form the gallant époque, for example from C.P.E. Bach’s Sonata.
- Study and in-depth analysis of some Venetian Sonatas
- Study and in-depth analysis of the opera repertoire for organ
- Other free pieces chosen with students
Exam
30 minutes execution of pieces chosen with the teacher from the program, with a selection of authors studied during the year.
