COURSE OBJECTIVES
These programmes develop your performance skills to a professional level. Normally taken over two years, they offer intensive training in practical skills, complemented by teorical studies, such as:
– Tuning and temperament (16th–18th centuries)
– Keyboard continuo
– Ornamentation and cadenza classes
– Chamber music and continuo techniques
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Your programme of study is specifically designed to help you build up all of the skills and experiences you need to enter the profession. Historical Performance alumni could hold positions with Academies of Ancient Music, Baroque Soloists, Baroque ensembles.
